Responses

Responses are the building blocks for your reports. Therefore it is important to manage them properly and store them in a clear space.

What do respondents think about your service? What do they think about your product? All these responses come in via the inbox. This section compiles and organizes all the feedback provided by respondents, offering a comprehensive view of their opinions and experiences. To get a better understanding, you are also able to use quick filters, or filter based on metadata.

Response actions

On the left-hand side of the screen under Filters & categories, you can use quick filters created by Insocial or enter specific filter criteria.

Example: You can search for keywords such as ‘service’ and set the score from 8 to 10 to retrieve all responses containing the word “service” with a score greater than or equal to 8.

Note: If metadata was added to responses, this will also be a filter option.

There are two ways to take action on a response. These will be enlightend below.

The first option is:

  1. Go to your inbox and hover over a response.

  2. You should see the publishing, archive and delete options appear.

The second options is:

  1. Go to your inbox and click on the desired response.

  2. At the top you should see a box containing all the available actions for the selected response.

You can easily publish responses on your website, if linked to Insocial, to showcase customer feedback. This feature allows you to highlight positive reviews and testimonials directly on your site, enhancing credibility and providing potential customers with real user experiences.

 Instructions

  1. Click on Inbox in the menu items.

  2. Under ‘Filters & categories’ on the inbox page you’ll find all the quick filters and filter fields.

Quick filters are default filters created by Insocial to quickly switch between most common filter criteria.

  1. If you want more to get more specific, use the field below the quick filters to set your own criteria.

  1. Navigate to the inbox page.

  2. Select the response you wish to take action for.

  3. On the top of the screen you should see the actions for this response.

If the publish (checkbox and cross) options are not clickable, it means the respondent hasn’t given permission to publish the response.

Note: These response actions are not available to all user types.

Some user types are able to generate an .csv file of all responses in the inbox. This can be done by:

  1. Navigate to Inbox in the menu items.

  2. In the top-right corner, click on the Download Excel button (if applicable to your user type).
