Compare results

Compare results

Comparing results is useful to gain insights on how a survey or a specific question scores compared to other questions, surveys or questions from another survey.

There are three different approaches when it comes down to comparing results. The first one is to analyse how one question from a survey scores compared to another question from the survey. Another way is to analyse how a question scores compared to another question from a different survey. And then there is the option to compare a whole survey to a question or to another survey.

Comparing scores

One way to analyze survey results is by comparing responses to different questions within the same survey. Seeing how one question scores compared to another within the same survey can be useful to see how people think about two aspects.

The same survey question can be compared across different time periods, making it useful for tracking how scores change over time after implementing customer feedback.

Another option is to compare responses to similar or different questions across different surveys. This can be particularly useful if you've developed a new survey and want to see if opinions or attitudes have changed since an earlier survey. This method helps you track trends and shifts in respondent perspectives over time or what their perspective is on two different subjects.

Then there is also the possibility to compare whole surveys to other surveys or to a specific question. This might be handy to get quick insights in the overall scores of the surveys.
