Translate surveys

Add translations to your surveys, which are automatically displayed to respondents based on their language settings. This ensures that participants receive the survey in their preferred language, improving accessibility and response accuracy.

The survey language will be automatically set for the respondent based on their browser's language settings, provided that translations have been created for the survey.

The selected source language (the one you choose when creating a new survey) will determine the language in which your reports are generated. Please ensure that this is set up correctly before adding translations for your survey!

Instructions

  1. Go to Surveys in the navigation menu.

  2. Hover over the survey for which you want to add a translation and click image-20240724-094110.png.

  1. Click on image-20240724-094142.png under Survey translations.

This can be found in the following pannel:

  1. Add the desired language by clicking the image-20240724-094359.png button.

  1. Click on image-20241101-122939.pngat the top of the screen.

  2. Next, click on image-20241101-123050.png in the survey editor. This button can be found in the bottom left under the survey editor.

  3. Click on image-20241101-123206.png button and select the desired language.

  1. Translate all the labels and click image-20240724-094914.png to proceed.

  2. Optional: Set up the extra settings and follow the instructions.

  3. Once done, click image-20240724-103854.png to finish setting up the translation for your survey.
