How to use Ask Insocial

Type your questions in the message box at the bottom of the Ask Insocial screen.

On the right-hand side, after starting a new conversation, the Rhino will generate question suggestions based on analyzed data.

  • You can edit a suggested question by clicking the ✏️ icon.

  • You can save a question by hovering over it and clicking the ⭐️ icon.

  • You can remove a question by clicking the ❌ icon.

The key to effective prompt engineering lies in asking the right questions — be specific, clear, and intentional about what you want the chatbot to answer.

For example, consider the difference between:

  • “What’s the highest score?”
    versus

  • “What is the highest score on the {name of survey} in the last 30 days, and who gave this score?”

The second prompt provides clear context and yields more useful, targeted insights. The more precise your question, the better the quality of the response.

On the lefthand-side, after asking your first question to the Ask Insocial rhino, your chats will be stored automatically. This is useful to see your chat history and check what you’ve asked before, just like in ChatGPT.

To set up your chats as efficiently as possible, we recommend using one chat per topic or objective. This approach helps maintain a clear overview of where to ask specific questions and keeps your prompts organized.
For example:

  • Use one chat for questions about NPS scores

  • Use another chat for insights on your best-performing survey

This structure makes it easier to track conversations, follow up, and revisit key insights when needed.

Ask Insocial will monitor your data in real-time and come up with useful related questions. This can give your some recommendations you haven’t thought about. In addition Ask Insocial sends alerts when it detects noteworthy insights or opportunities
