Survey types

This content is archived.

There are four different survey types to choose from. Each survey type essentially represents a different user interface — meaning it defines how users will interact with the survey.
To increase engagement and response rates, it's important to select the survey type that best fits your use case.

Swift

A classic, full-page experience that guides the respondent through questions step-by-step in a separate window.

The user is redirected to a new webpage where each question is shown one by one. This is the most common and familiar survey format. Ideal for email invitations and standalone survey links.

Essential

One-page survey with a single (or a few) question(s).

A short feedback moment most commonly used to measure User Experience (UX).

  • After a user used a product or a service.

Conversational

A chat-like interface that mimics a conversation (e.g. WhatsApp-style).

After each answer, the next question appears in a chat bubble. Great for mobile experiences and informal user journeys.
